Bucegi mountains seen from the East, somewhere above Predeal
(one of the highest mountain resorts in our mountains).

 

Going upwards on the misty (at that time) "White Valley" (Valea Albă), an abrupt, rocky, but straightforward way towards Bucegi plateau (it takes about 5 hours of rough climbing from Busteni). The sun was "generous", showing itself sometimes behind rock peaks.

 

A rough climb upwards the "White Valley" (Valea Albă) leads us high up on Bucegi plateau. The mist seemed to let us escape in a sunny but windy area. We're almost up there!

 

Early in the morning on Bucegi plateau... after one "tropical" night in the chalet (we heated excessively the room!), we went out in the cold and dark morning. Cătălin, my friend, is watching the sunrise... as I did, too, behind the camera.

 

A peaceful October evening on Bucegi plateau near the "Babele" chalet. The wind and the rain shaped strange rocks up here; they are called "babele", "the old ladies"... gossiping continuously in the moonlight and not only.
