Trekking up to Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal (Annapurna South in the background).

You'll find here some data and photos from my treks in Nepal and the Himalayas where I spent more than 7 months in 1999-2000 (for me was a challenging culture... and the mountains... great)... and, of course, from my country, Romania and our mountains, the Carpathians, not so high or famous but quite beautiful, I hope you'll agree. The English version is based mainly on photos with a short explanation only but I hope you'll enjoy the images. The journal pages are available (for the moment) only in Romanian. I'll try to expand the pages periodically so, if you're interested, just email me and I'll let you know.

 

Important   -   I recommend to use a 4+ browser version (preferably MSIE which I used for page layout), able to interpret Java Script and CSS. Please check if the use of Style Sheets is enabled and do so if this text is red. Green is OK!
